Emilia Mitchell-Carter

When Emilia is not teaching 8th-grade students how to care better for the planet, she can normally be found climbing rocks, hiking with her partner and dog, or kayaking on the Prescott lakes. Emilia is proudly going into her third year as the youngest academic teacher at Northpoint Expeditionary Learning Academy. She always tries to bring fun energy to her classroom daily, getting her students engaged with hands-on STEM lessons. Emilia loves providing her students with opportunities to think critically and to be their creative selves.
