Halle is an accelerated Master’s student at Prescott College studying Critical Psychology in the undergraduate program and Outdoor Education Leadership in the Graduate program. A volunteer for the Prescott Community Cupboard Food Bank, the City of Prescott, the Launch Pad Teen Center, the Western Heritage Center, Prescott Unified School District, and the American Heart Association, Halle volunteers for a minimum of 22 hours a month. She is an Education Specialist for GEM Environmental, and a First-Year Experience Student Mentor at Prescott College, providing social support for peers. As Miss Granite Mountain in the Miss Arizona Organization, she uses her platform to share her community service initiative, ‘LNT For You & Me,’ where she teaches young children through high schoolers socioemotional skills like empathy, compassion, and boundary setting through Leave No Trace practices. She also uses her platform in MAzO to encourage adolescents and young women to shine in their individuality and authenticity regardless of what others think of it. Her most recent adventures include a two-week road trip, shadowing wilderness therapy professionals in the field from Mancos, Colorado, to Utah, and a backpacking trip through the Superstition Mountains, co-facilitating 14 students.
