Bellezza Healthcare introduces the Plasma Pen, a non-invasive skin rejuvenation technique with myriad benefits

By Edie Morgan

What’s a girl to do? If you are tired of reading articles about new ways to rejuvenate your body, you’re not the only one!

There are so many new procedures available to help us look and feel younger—and so much hype around them! From skin plumping to tightening to lifting, to fat dissolving injections and procedures, the decision-making process can be confusing and frustrating.

As a health care provider and a consumer, I have researched many of the procedures and machines, and almost everything in between.

At Bellezza Healthcare, it’s a given that we provide primary and specialty care to women as well as care for men and their sexual health concerns.

However, we are now expanding our aesthetic services to include procedures that use an individual’s own collagen to contribute to a youthful look. In other words, these procedures offer a way for someone to turn back the clock with the most natural look possible—and the results can last for years.   Most importantly, these youthful changes can be made without general anesthesia, discomfort, or any downtime.

Bellezza Healthcare just began offering the Aesthetic Corrector Plasma Pen, through Louise Walsh International. This treatment is completely non-invasive and straightforward.

This procedure can be used to treat:

  • Eyelids, including lower eyelids and excess upper eyelid skin.
  • Skin imperfections, including skin tags and sun spots.
  • The appearance of acne scars.
  • Stretch marks (it can decrease or diminish their appearance).
  • Loose skin on the stomach, related to pregnancy and/or weight loss.
  • Lines and wrinkles around the mouth and eyes, and on the forehead.
  • Deep wrinkles on the cheeks.

Here’s how the Plasma Pen works:

Our highly-trained practitioners use the Plasma Pen to activate and release important proteins in the dermis. These proteins help regulate cell maturation (aging) and encourage tissue regeneration and repair. Within a few days, the skin dries and forms tiny crusts that fall off like dandruff, leaving newer, rejuvenated skin. The new collagen continues to form for up to six months and the results can last up to three years.

There are a few contraindications to treatment, thus it is important to have a consultation with one of our clinicians prior to planning a treatment.  Overall, this has been the best and most natural treatment I have experienced yet and we are more than excited to offer the Plasma Pen at Bellezza Healthcare.
