Willow Tree Tapas & Wine brings together friends, family, and flavor—and celebrates community one small plate at a time

Tucked on the west side of Prescott, Willow Tree Tapas & Wine has quickly become more than just a place to enjoy a great meal. It’s a warm, welcoming gathering spot where neighbors connect and new friendships begin.
Owners Lorie, Stephanie, Donna, and their spouses never set out to open a restaurant when they relocated from California in 2021. But when a lease became available in an area that lacked dining options, the family recognized an opportunity to create something special. Combining backgrounds in business management, culinary arts, and food service, they brought their shared love of wine, small plates, and community to life.
The atmosphere is intentionally casual and comfortable, inviting guests to relax, linger, and enjoy meaningful conversation over thoughtfully prepared dishes and a carefully curated wine list. One of the restaurant’s most popular offerings—the signature crab cakes—has earned a loyal following and rave reviews. The menu is reviewed and refreshed every few months to keep things vibrant and aligned with customer feedback, including the ongoing expansion of the establishment’s Spanish red and white wine selections.
While the food and wine are what bring people through the doors, the strong sense of community is what keeps them coming back. “We love that when people come in, they feel welcome,” Lorie shared. “It’s a place where you either meet a new friend or see an old one.”
Supporting the Prescott community is central to Willow Tree’s mission. The restaurant proudly backs local causes and organizations, including Yavapai In-line Hockey, Tunnel to Towers, Kiwanis Club of Prescott, Yavapai Big Brothers Big Sisters, Rotary Club of Prescott, Arizona Philharmonic, and many others. In turn, the owners are deeply grateful for the steady support from local patrons who have embraced the restaurant as their neighborhood spot.
Looking ahead, Willow Tree Tapas & Wine hopes to enclose the patio, creating more space for guests to gather. “We’re a family-run restaurant with an amazing staff,” they emphasized. “And we truly appreciate everyone who walks through our doors.”
