A Dream by Day Salon and its team of high caliber stylists celebrate five years of delivering inspired styles

September marks five years of business for a local salon, A Dream by Day. Owner Kelly Lee has put her heart and soul into creating a salon that delivers an unwavering standard for stylists to capture each guest’s style for an unforgettable experience.
Kelly has dedicated 14 years of her career to continued education, training with elite celebrity hairstylists. And, to ensure A Dream by Day’s team is of the highest caliber, she takes them to New York once a year to refuel their inspiration.
“The girls love to get out of their hometown for a bit, be inspired and refueled by the city, and bring what they’ve learned about styling and care back to their clients,” Kelly said.
Each stylist at A Dream by Day shares in a passion and drive for the craft and for ongoing training: “Education is the highest priority; each of our stylists completes A Dream by Day’s curriculum prior to accepting clients.”
Kelly finds joy in sharing her own experience with new stylists, and she loves being able to learn from stylists fresh out of school who might know something she hasn’t learned yet.

Kelly shared a home hair care tip: “Stick to an easy regimen. Simpler is better! Wash and condition every third day and then follow this three-day routine for effortless, pretty hair.”
Day 1: Cleanse and condition hair and blow-dry (no hot tools).
Day 2: Use dry shampoo on roots if you have an oily scalp (it’s ok to use flat/curling iron).
Day 3: Wear hair in a simple up ‘do or ponytail.
Repeat. This reduces repetitive damage from striping and overuse of tools.
