For Tahna Falk, Owner and Creative Producer of StarStruck Event Planning, the 15th Annual Prescott Bridal Affaire Expo is something special for the greater Prescott area.  On Sunday, March 1, 2020 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., attendees can witness for themselves the largest and longest-running wedding expo in Northern Arizona.  In her second year as owner of the Expo, Falk is one of the only full-time wedding planners in the area. She states, “I love planning weddings! They are one of the most challenging types of events that I do because of the amount of detail, but that attention to detail and organization are my specialties.  I’ve planned and coordinated all types of wedding celebrations from elopements to 250 person weddings, and each one is different, which makes it that much more fun!”

Co-hosting the event with the historic Hassayampa Inn and Verve Events and Tents, Falk offers useful tips for those attending the Prescott Bridal Affaire Expo experience. “As engaging and entertaining as the event will be, engaged couples and their guests should be prepared to mingle, network, and investigate every vendor showcasing their offerings. Wear comfortable shoes and plan to stay for a couple of hours.” This year expects to draw a very large crowd and will utilize all areas of the historic Hassayampa Inn, including the Inn’s Lobby, Arizona Room, 1927 Salon, Marina Room, Marina Rooftop, and Marina Patio.  A professional MC will guide attendees as they enjoy mimosas, strolling musicians and an interactive fashion show throughout the day. This event is free to attend, and engaged couples will receive a swag bag and lots of freebies. Another huge draw for attendees is the various assortment of raffle prizes drawn every half hour and a chance to win the Grand Prize worth thousands of dollars—a package that features many elements needed to create the perfect day for couples of all genders and denominations.

What is particularly exciting for Falk, a native Prescottonian, is that the event really showcases what Prescott and its surrounding area have to offer.  She states, “Prescott is really becoming a destination for weddings and events because of the weather and scenery with those extra added charming touches that only Prescott boasts.” As the continued success of the Expo unfolds, Falk is quick to point out that her team of efficient and organized women help to make the day a success. “I could not do this without the ones who help to make it all happen behind the scenes. We work hard to pull off this annual community event—and for this little town, this Expo is something special for the greater Prescott area!  There is so much planning and organizing that goes on throughout the year to make it the quality event that it has become.”
