Wrapped in Love Diaper Bank invites the community to donate diapers, wipes, and children’s books during its September 8–October 14 countywide drive
For families with young children, essentials such as diapers and wipes are everyday necessities. But for many households, keeping those items stocked can create a significant financial burden.
This fall, Wrapped in Love Diaper Bank is bringing the community together to help meet that need through its Healthy Babies = Happy Families Donation & Book Drive, taking place September 8 through October 14, 2026. The drive will collect essential hygiene products and children’s books for families throughout Yavapai County.
The organization is currently seeking baby and adult wipes, larger diapers and pull-ups, and new or gently used books for young children.
Adding books gives this year’s drive another meaningful component. Donated books will be included with December diaper orders, encouraging reading and family time while giving children books of their own.
Meeting an Essential Need
Wrapped in Love Diaper Bank serves underserved families throughout Yavapai County by providing diapering and hygiene products. The organization’s message is simple: basic needs aren’t basic—they’re essential.
According to Wrapped in Love, one in two families in the United States struggles with diapering needs. The Healthy Babies = Happy Families drive is timed to coincide in part with National Diaper Need Awareness Week, September 14–20, helping shine a light on an issue that may not always be visible in the community.
The drive also connects several other important September and October observances. September is Library Card Sign-Up Month, creating an opportunity to encourage children to read and families to spend time together. Grandparents Day on September 13 highlights the special connection grandparents and grandchildren can share when they read a book together.
The campaign continues through National Child Health Day on October 5, reinforcing the connection between having access to basic hygiene supplies and children’s overall health and well-being.
Plenty of Ways to Participate
Wrapped in Love has made it easy for Yavapai County residents to contribute. Donation drop-off locations are available throughout the Verde Valley, Greater Prescott area and Prescott Valley.
Participating locations include the Prescott Public Library, Prescott Valley Public Library, Camp Verde Community Library, Cottonwood Public Library, Community Library Sedona, Paulden Public Library, Local Body Bar, Fair Street Salon, Prescott Area Association of REALTORS®, several Polara Health locations, Faith Lutheran Church, St. Germaine Catholic Church, Pine Lakes Clubhouse, and Skincreep Tattoo.
Supporters can also purchase needed items through the organization’s Amazon Wishlist or contribute financially.
There is an added incentive to give during September 14–20: Wrapped in Love has matching funds available during National Diaper Need Awareness Week, allowing financial donations to have double the impact.
A Community Effort for Local Families
A package of diapers, a box of wipes, or a favorite children’s book may seem like a small contribution, but when a community gives together, those individual donations can add up to meaningful support for local families.
