What began as a lifestyle magazine has evolved into a dynamic, digital-forward brand rooted in storytelling, connection, and community uplift.
We spotlight the women who lead, create, serve, and inspire — entrepreneurs, artists, educators, advocates, and changemakers whose work shapes the place we call home. Through powerful profiles, thoughtful features, and meaningful conversations, we go beyond the surface to share stories that matter.
Today, our storytelling lives across multiple platforms. Through the She Spark Podcast, we amplify real conversations around leadership, purpose, growth, and connection. Through the Prescott Woman Awards, we honor women whose courage, compassion, and contributions make a lasting difference. And through Portraits with Purpose, we combine storytelling and service, using photography to give back and uplift local nonprofits.

Women in Rodeo
This year, the World’s Oldest Rodeo® will shine a spotlight on an extraordinary group of athletes and contributors: the Women in Rodeo. With a nod to the trailblazing women who have shaped rodeo culture from its earliest days, this year’s theme celebrates the often overlooked yet pivotal role women have played in the rodeo world. From barrel racing to trick riding and beyond, women have been integral in shaping not only Prescott Frontier Days®, but the entire sport of rodeo.
“We are incredibly excited to unveil ‘Women in Rodeo’ as the theme for 2025,” said Jim Dewey Brown, General Manager of Prescott Frontier Days®, Inc. “This allows us to honor the deep-rooted traditions and the countless women who have contributed to the history of rodeo—not just as competitors, but as leaders, stock contractors, and pioneers in the sport. Their strength, grit, and determination are central to our rodeo’s legacy.”

Here are some tips for finding the right people to team up with, so we can all take our businesses to the next level.
A New Outlook
We’re in a weird time right now; we’ve all had to change our lives to some extent. As a 16-year-old student at BASIS Prescott and a member of The Launch Pad Teen Center’s Teen Advisory Council (TAC), I want to share how COVID has changed the way I feel about school and The Launch Pad, a youth centered space driven to empower teens to become engaged members of our community.

That is the philosophy and the mission of Prescott Area Women Who Care (PAWWC), a “giving circle” of generous women who are dedicated to helping the community thrive by supporting the tireless efforts of local nonprofits.

Suspended Fluidity
Jen Martin is a master of movement, transitioning from one skill to the next with the grace and fluidity earned after years of dance training. She is strong and elegant, creative and artistic.
