What began as a lifestyle magazine has evolved into a dynamic, digital-forward brand rooted in storytelling, connection, and community uplift.

Today, our storytelling lives across multiple platforms. Through the She Spark Podcast, we amplify real conversations around leadership, purpose, growth, and connection. Through the Prescott Woman Awards, we honor women whose courage, compassion, and contributions make a lasting difference. And through Portraits with Purpose, we combine storytelling and service, using photography to give back and uplift local nonprofits.

A Place Where Everyone Can Shine
Tamee Niekamp started One Stage Family Theatre in July 2016, intending to reach as many people as possible while being inclusive and accepting to all who audition.
Tamee’s theatre days started twenty-one years ago when her daughter auditioned for her first play and received her first part. This kickstarted Tamee’s passion for theater and eventually led to her opening One Stage Family Theatre.
“I also love to see the process of how the plays evolve and watch the final performances on stage,” she said, adding that those performances bring “such a sense of accomplishment for all” who are involved.

Maya Caldwell: Taking Risks by Seeking Quality Funding for PUSD
A newcomer to Prescott, Maya Caldwell found it easy to settle into her role as Federal Program and Grants Coordinator with the Prescott Unified School District (PUSD) when she started her job earlier this year. Caldwell says, “This district is embodied by the most caring and innovative people I have ever seen in a public school system. Not only do they support my vision and dreams for ‘out of box’ thinking—they embrace it!” With students in mind throughout all grant-seeking decisions, Caldwell says she feels an “unhindered creativity finding new grant opportunities and programs that will benefit our students.”

A Place to Belong and Thrive
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Arizona provide children and teens in Prescott, Prescott Valley and Chino Valley with an affordable, safe and enriching place to be during out-of-school time. Members have daily access to a broad range of educational and recreational programs designed to drive positive outcomes and reinforce necessary life skills. The Clubs are dedicated to ensuring that our community’s young people have easy access to quality programs and services that will enhance their futures
