Expanded Bridal Affaire Expo Offers More Venues Than Ever, and Acts as a One-Stop Shop for Engaged Couples

By Hilary Dartt

For engaged couples who haven’t chosen a wedding venue, the 2023 Prescott Bridal Affaire Expo is the place to be!

With more venues participating as exhibitors than ever before in the event’s history, engaged couples will be able to learn about this area’s variety of venues, from indoor to outdoor, casual to elegant, forest to lakeside, and everything in between.

Tahna Falk, owner and creative producer at StarStruck Event Planning, which presents the Expo, said, “In the quad-city area and beyond, there are probably more than 60 venues. It’s part of the reason we draw a big crowd from down in the valley, for this show and for weddings in general.”

The Expo will take place at the Sam Hill Warehouse and Hilton Garden Inn, Prescott Downtown on Sunday, March 5 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. It’s free to attend; event officials ask that engaged couples share their contact information at the registration tables.

Tahna said this event is the largest and longest-running wedding expo in Northern Arizona. This will be the 18th year and will be the biggest yet.

“We added a tented, fully heated area in the parking lot,” she said, which means even more booths … which had mostly sold out by the first week of December, which proves just how popular the Expo has become.

As always, Tahna said, this year’s expo will have the “boutiquey” personal and intimate feel it’s known for, a friendly atmosphere, and amazing prizes (including a grand prize wedding package valued at thousands of dollars and raffle prizes every half hour).

Most importantly, it will act as a one-stop shop for engaged couples to find quality wedding vendors in every category they may need for their special day: DJs, videographers, caterers, photographers, wedding planners, bakers, florists, and, of course, venues.

As a bonus, there are cake and catering samples, and photo booths.

Engaged couples who attend the Expo receive a swag bag, which features a Bridal Resource Guide that includes a room-by-room map of the Expo, space for notes, and articles from the experts on various wedding planning topics. The Bridal Resource Guide is designed for couples to use throughout the Expo and after, to help plan their wedding … and Tahna has heard from lots of couples who have used it for just that.
