When founder and veteran event planner Hazel Bowman of PrescottWeddings.com asked StarStruck Event Planning to serve as Co-Presenter for the 13th Annual Prescott Bridal Affaire Expo on March 4, she knew the combination would be a perfect one.  Tahna Falk, Owner and Creative Producer of StarStruck Event Planning, could not agree more about the duo’s collaboration. “I am super excited to be involved this year, as wedding planning is what I enjoy doing the most.  The Prescott Bridal Affaire Expo is by far my favorite expo in the three years I have been exhibiting. Attendees will not be disappointed!” Bowman adds, “This is the area’s biggest bridal expo, and it is wonderful to have Tahna on board! No matter what event someone is planning—from weddings, to anniversaries, graduations and more—they’ll find everything they need right here.”

Bowman, who has planned hundreds of events from intimate weddings to multi-million-dollar fundraisers, offers important tips for those who may be new to the Prescott Bridal Affaire Expo experience.  Attendees should, “Be prepared to mix, mingle, network, investigate and mostly walk, walk, walk!  Be sure to wear comfortable shoes, and plan to stay for at least 3 hours. It will be a wonderful afternoon filled with fun, music, romance, and prizes.”  Last year alone, more than 600 people filled all areas of the historic Hassayampa Inn.  This year’s venue extends to the Inn’s Lobby, Arizona Room, 122 Gurley Room, Marina Room and Marina Patio.

As engaging and entertaining as the event has proven to be, Bowman adds, “Attendees should also see this as a professional business expo as they research details to make their event one-of-a-kind. All couples and gender preferences are welcome, and all exhibitors are excited to make everyone’s dream day wishes come true.” Visitors will enjoy strolling violinist Kevin Huang, and the fashion show by Elegant Brides will entice viewers with first-class fashion.  Both Bowman and Falk add that, while admission is free, registration is necessary for those couples interested in winning the spectacular Grand Prize worth thousands of dollars. Donations from vendors who have contributed have created a package to ensure a memorable day including a venue, officiant, music, photographer, styling, reception cuisine, and “day-of” coordinator.  In addition to the Grand Prize, there will be mini-grand prizes awarded at the end of the Expo, plus raffle drawings held every 30 minutes.  Couples also have a chance to win a $50 MasterCard gift card by going online to Dcourier.com from February 4 to 16 and completing the “Wedding Style” quiz.  Once submitted, the couple receives a special invitation to the Expo which can be turned in to be eligible. To commemorate the Expo, Step Right Up Photo Booth will provide free snap pictures of those attending. And, new this year, videographer Motion Candy Media will use a drone to capture the view of the Expo from the sky!

Mark your calendars for Sunday, March 4 from 10-3 at Prescott’s historic Hassayampa Inn on the corner of Marina and Gurley Streets. With FREE admission, plenty of parking, door prizes and more, this year’s Expo promises to deliver an eventful day for those planning an event to remember.
