The Summer of 2021 is finally here! With widespread vaccine distribution and reduced cases of Covid-19, people are ready to travel again. The people in the tourism and hospitality industry are eager and ready to greet new and returning guests.
During most of 2020, SpringHill Suites by Marriott in downtown Prescott underwent a massive top-to-bottom renovation including all guestrooms and public spaces. Also during 2020, Residence Inn by Marriott in Prescott (across from Trader Joe’s), installed four Electric Vehicle Charging Stations, offering free charging to anyone 24/7. Non-guests can charge for free while they relax in patio or lobby areas.
At long last, the pools and fitness rooms are all open and the free breakfast buffets are back to completely normal operations. The only lingering modifications that exist: masks are required in public areas, and housekeeping services are limited. Currently there is no discussion of dropping these requirements, and we suspect them to stand through the end of 2021 at a minimum.
Prescott is a prime destination for outdoor recreation activities and staying overnight while touring the local area. SpringHill Suites and Residence Inn are proud to partner with Tour Prescott, Ride Prescott, and Prescott Ebikes Rental and Tours offering pick-up and drop-off services at our locations for individuals, couples, and families to explore the area.
