Patients report life changing procedure that improves incontinence, dryness, and sex

Vaginal rejuvenation isn’t just a fad; it offers several life-changing health benefits, including increased circulation and lubrication, improvement with urinary incontinence issues, and improved sexual function. As a health provider who focuses on women’s health care, when I first heard of “vaginal health enhancers,” and saw how many options there were, I realized I’d need to take my time, do my research, and find the best-performing product out there—the one that proved the most successful with the least pain and quickest recovery.

I found it: Votiva, a radio-frequency device that combines gentle volumetric heating with fractional coagulation of tissue. Votiva provides amazing results, which I’ve seen both in research and in person. Votiva uses a bipolar radio frequency and, according to several of my patients, the results are “life changing.”

Healthcare professionals have used radio frequency energy in procedures for years, and it’s proven to work extremely well on vaginal tissue and on the labia. The results are long-lasting because the body responds to the Votiva’s heat by sending its natural healing forces to produce new collagen fibers, which tighten the tissue. The treatment also increases the elastin in the tissue, which makes it more supple and increases blood flow and therefore natural lubrication.

Votiva has several FDA clearances in addition to vaginal tissue rejuvenation.

In my own practice, I’ve seen it improve urinary incontinence in several patients, because it tightens the tissue on the vaginal wall, which supports the internal structures that prevent leaks. I’ve also used it as an alternative to medicines for women of childbearing age who experience dryness due to breastfeeding or other hormonal fluctuations.

Votiva requires three treatments, two to four weeks apart. Each treatment is performed in the office and takes 25 minutes. One follow up treatment is recommended every 12-18 months. The treatments are safe with this device because there is a temperature cut-off valve that turns the machine off forcing a cool down once the device reaches a certain temperature.

Insurance doesn’t cover Votiva, but Bellezza Healthcare accepts Care Credit for this procedure.
