Special Ghost Talk Events at Suze’s Prescott Center for the Arts

By Heather DeSousa, Marketing Manager, Suze’s Prescott Center for the Arts

You are cordially invited to the annual Ghost Talk Celebration at Suze’s Prescott Center for the Arts, with performances of a new, original play on October 27, 28, and 29.

Plan for a fun day at Suze’s! We’re casting a spell for the perfect weekend, carefully curated for the whole family. We encourage you to sip on apple cider or hot cocoa while enjoying other sweet treats as you choose from our festive activities.

Grab your brooms, capes, wands, and teeth and join us for a weekend of spooktacular treats! We encourage you to dress up in your favorite costumes with us!

As you adventure around the campus, expect to be greeted by local ghosts who are visiting us for the weekend. They will share with you their stories and explore along with you.

For the younger crowd, we are offering a unique puppet theater, organized by local puppeteers! This activity is a new addition to the Art Center. Keep an eye out for upcoming puppet classes!
Build a Beast Puppet will be sharing the space with the sugar skull decorating. You will also find a similar theme in our Studio Gallery, where the current Exhibit is Build a Beast.

In our Artist Lounge, prepare for a sweet craft: Sugar Skulls! The Artist Lounge will feature our Dia de los Muertos exhibit, with local and borrowed artwork from our Sister City, Caborca, Mexico.

And before eating too many sweets, we hope you’ll enjoy the bounce house! Kids will be given a punch card to complete during the day and will be awarded a treat bag once complete!

For a more frightening experience, wander through our haunted house, located in the basement of our Studio Theater. Be prepared to be scared! The Haunted House will run on Saturday, October 28 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Don’t forget to attend our original theater production, written by Keaton Snyder and starring some of Prescott’s infamous ghosts (for ages 12 and older). These performances take place in the Studio Theater at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, October 27 and 28, and at 2 p.m. Sunday, October 29. Visit www.prescottartcenter.com to secure your tickets now!

Keep in mind … the Ghost Talk Festival would not be complete without a few surprises! We hope you’ll join us all weekend long for a unique experience.
