In new role, longtime Prescott resident and Prescott Chamber Ambassador delivers more of what she loves to the community

Prescott Woman Magazine interviewed Cori King, Human Resource & Recruiting Manager for Findlay Automotive Group – Prescott Campus, and member of the Prescott Chamber of Commerce. We learned about how much she values personal connections.

PWM: For how long have you been a member of the Prescott Chamber of Commerce?

Cori: Since 2017.

PWM: Tell us about what brought you to Prescott.

Cori: Looking for a better place to raise our children, my husband and I moved the family from Phoenix to Prescott in 2007. Now, I’m the Human Resource & Recruiting Manager for Findlay Automotive Group – Prescott Campus.

PWM: What about the Prescott Chamber is different from other organizations in the area, and what do you personally enjoy best about being part of it?

Cori: The Prescott Chamber makes you feel like you belong. Every event I have been to, every Chamber Ambassador and staff member, have all been welcoming, warm, fun, and friendly. This is what makes the Prescott Chamber different.

PWM: Do you serve in any additional roles within the Chamber?

Cori: Yes, I am an Ambassador.

PWM: Do you have family here? Children? Other activities in which you participate?

Cori: Yes, my husband Brian and our two adult children, Cassandra (23) and Autumn (20).

PWM: How are you involved in the community?

Cori: I only shop local whenever possible, even if it’s more expensive. I work for a company that is heavily embedded in the community, so I am involved in that way. I serve as a Chamber Ambassador.

PWM: What else do you want to add that people might not know about you or what you do or offer?

Cori: I have been working in various roles in the automotive industry (entry-level to executive) since I was 15 years old – that’s 31 years. It’s the only industry I have ever worked in, and I absolutely love it. People and cars have been a passion of mine since I was a small child. I love to cook, travel, spend time with my family and friends, and embark on new experiences.
