Local Woman Enjoys Intentional, Connected Life in Prescott—and Professional Purpose and Fulfillment
Prescott Woman Magazine sat down with Dayna Ross-Hufford, General Manager of NoCo Productions, to hear what she loves most about living and working in Prescott — and how the community continues to inspire her.
PWM: How long have you lived in Prescott, and why did you choose it as your home?
Danya: My family and I moved to Prescott in 2018 in search of that “hometown” atmosphere to raise our children in.
PWM: What advice would you give young women new to the city or those considering moving here?
Danya: Enjoy the small stuff. Prescott moves at a more relaxed pace, which gives time to slow down and really appreciate the little things.
PWM: What is your occupation, and are there any local events or organizations that have significantly impacted your professional development?
Danya: I’m the General Manager of NoCo Productions. One of my favorite events to collaborate on is Harvest Fest in the NoCo District. I’m grateful for the growth, the challenges, and the incredible team that makes it all happen.
PWM: Do you have any kids, significant others, fur babies, or close family members living in the area?
Danya: I have three amazing children with my husband, Mitch. His parents retired here to be close to us in 2019. Our latest addition to our family is a little white dog named Ozzy!
PWM: What do you love most about living and working in this city, and how has it influenced your journey?
Danya: I love how everything’s close—our downtown, friendly faces, cozy coffee shops, and beautiful venues—making life feel intentional and connected.
PWM: How has the local culture or environment influenced your personal or professional growth?
Danya: Prescott’s culture inspired me to redefine what it means to love your work. That sense of fulfillment and purpose has directly shaped who I am.
PWM: How do you feel Prescott enriches the work you do and your hobbies?
Danya: Prescott’s rich history and dedication to preservation have added so much meaning to my everyday life. Discovering different stories, spaces, and people throughout Prescott has become a hobby now.
PWM: Is there anything new or exciting you’re working on for the upcoming year?
Danya: Yes! I’m very excited about the growth and curation of The Fairweather Social Club’s event venue expansion. We’re creating a one-of-a-kind outdoor space to host happenings of all sorts.
PWM: Are you involved in the community? If so, what initiatives or projects are you currently working on to uplift the community?
Danya: I’m passionate about using NoCo Productions’ venues to support community fundraisers, award nights, and meaningful nonprofit events and gatherings.
PWM: If you had the chance to contribute something lasting to Prescott, what would it be — and why?
Danya: I’d love to help build a space where artists share their passions—music, theater, writing—fostering creativity and connection in Prescott.
