The Prescott Chamber’s November 4 gathering brings local professionals together for lunch, conversation and a keynote from Darla DeVille

A conversation over lunch can lead to a new idea, an introduction or simply the encouragement to keep going. The Prescott Chamber of Commerce’s Quarterly Women in Business Luncheon makes room for those conversations on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Held at the Sam Hill Warehouse Event Center, 300 N. Montezuma St. in Prescott, the luncheon is designed for businesswomen within the Chamber membership. Men are welcome to attend, too. The afternoon brings members together to meet one another, strengthen professional relationships and hear from a keynote speaker.

The Chamber encourages guests to arrive early, choose a preferred seat and settle in with others at their table. Lunch will be served buffet style, with a surprise dessert to follow.

More than an exchange of business cards

Networking can sometimes feel like a race to meet everyone in the room. This luncheon invites attendees to slow down long enough to have a conversation. Around the table, guests can learn about one another’s work, share experiences and discover where their interests connect.

That approach suits a quarterly gathering. Relationships take time to build, and seeing familiar faces again can make it easier to follow up on an earlier conversation or introduce someone new. For business owners and professionals whose days are often spent focused on clients, staff and deadlines, the luncheon offers a dedicated place to connect with peers.

Attendees are encouraged to bring business cards for an exchange and a raffle prize if they would like to contribute one. The raffle adds another opportunity to share what a local business does while joining in the afternoon’s activities.

An opportunity to learn together

Darla DeVille of Arizona Public Service’s Public Affairs Division will be the luncheon’s keynote speaker. Her presentation is part of an event centered on professional connection and the interpersonal skills that help people work together.

The Chamber has paired the November gathering with the phrase “Pupukahi i holomua,” a Hawaiian proverb meaning “unite to move forward.” It is a fitting thought for a room full of people bringing different experiences to the table. Progress in business can begin with listening, exchanging ideas and finding ways to support one another’s work.

Guests will select their meal preference during registration. The cost is $40, and the Chamber encourages early registration. Attendees should also plan to arrive before the 11 a.m. start to allow time to find a seat before the buffet lunch and program begin.
