What began as a lifestyle magazine has evolved into a dynamic, digital-forward brand rooted in storytelling, connection, and community uplift.
We spotlight the women who lead, create, serve, and inspire — entrepreneurs, artists, educators, advocates, and changemakers whose work shapes the place we call home. Through powerful profiles, thoughtful features, and meaningful conversations, we go beyond the surface to share stories that matter.
Today, our storytelling lives across multiple platforms. Through the She Spark Podcast, we amplify real conversations around leadership, purpose, growth, and connection. Through the Prescott Woman Awards, we honor women whose courage, compassion, and contributions make a lasting difference. And through Portraits with Purpose, we combine storytelling and service, using photography to give back and uplift local nonprofits.

Better Together
Creativity runs in the family, the women said: their great-grandfather, Runar G. Rodell, is considered one of America’s greatest western artists. His work—dioramas with backgrounds painted in oil paint and foregrounds containing sculptures made of sticks and other natural materials he collected in nature—is currently on display in the Phippen Museum’s James Gallery.

‘I Show People How Powerful They Are’
Leanne Shearer believes she’s exactly where she is supposed to be, doing what she’s supposed to do: helping people change the trajectory of their lives.
“I show people how powerful they are,” said the lifestyle coach, who owns Anytime Fitness with her husband, “and how much information they have in their own bodies to find answers to perplexing challenges.”
To deliver her message to a broader audience, this past fall Leanne launched Undone + Uncensored, “a no-BS podcast that unravels life’s most complex issues.”

According to the Centers for Disease Control, fewer children received their regular vaccines during the COVID-19 pandemic. The numbers in Yavapai County align with national trends over the past year and a half.
As the world returns to pre-pandemic “normal” and healthcare stabilizes, local doctors are urging parents to talk with their children’s providers about getting back on track with routine vaccines (which include those for measles, poliovirus, rotavirus, Hepatitis A and B, and more).
