Today, our storytelling lives across multiple platforms. Through the She Spark Podcast, we amplify real conversations around leadership, purpose, growth, and connection. Through the Prescott Woman Awards, we honor women whose courage, compassion, and contributions make a lasting difference. And through Portraits with Purpose, we combine storytelling and service, using photography to give back and uplift local nonprofits.

Prescott Woman magazine spoke with Jaye Lene Long, Executive Director, Co-Founder, and organizer of HOPE FEST Arizona, which is planned for 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, September 10 at the Courthouse Plaza. Admission is free.

Building On a Family Tradition
Haley Construction has established a deep foundation in Prescott, and that foundation only continues to build with the third generation of owners.
Jim and Frances Haley brought their construction business to Prescott in 1960, which likely makes Haley Construction the oldest continually running general contractor in Yavapai County. Jim and Fran passed the business on to their sons Tom and Bill in the 1970s. Then Tom’s daughter Gillian and stepson Allan Crary bought the business in 2014.

Alzheimer’s vs. Dementia
Alzheimer’s and dementia can be a difficult subject matter for any family. Finding the right services will ensure your loved one has the treatment he or she deserves during a very challenging time. Since 1999, Adult Care Services, which includes The Margaret T. Morris Center (Northern Arizona’s only assisted living community dedicated solely to dementia care) has served hundreds of women and men and their families living with Alzheimer’s disease, other forms of dementia, mild cognitive impairment, and memory loss.
