Prescott Woman Magazine is Northern Arizona’s premier women-focused media platform, dedicated to celebrating the voices, stories, and impact of the Prescott Quad Cities. What began as a lifestyle magazine has evolved into a dynamic, digital-forward brand rooted in storytelling, connection, and community uplift.
We spotlight the women who lead, create, serve, and inspire — entrepreneurs, artists, educators, advocates, and changemakers whose work shapes the place we call home. Through powerful profiles, thoughtful features, and meaningful conversations, we go beyond the surface to share stories that matter.
Today, our storytelling lives across multiple platforms. Through the She Spark Podcast, we amplify real conversations around leadership, purpose, growth, and connection. Through the Prescott Woman Awards, we honor women whose courage, compassion, and contributions make a lasting difference. And through Portraits with Purpose, we combine storytelling and service, using photography to give back and uplift local nonprofits.

A Rockin’ Good Time for 20 Years!
A handful of dedicated rockhounds started the Prescott Gem and Mineral Club in 2003. Today it’s one of the largest gem clubs in Arizona, boasting a membership of more than 300 people.
Monthly meetings occur at the Community Center in Chino Valley. The club invites guests to attend and learn more. Most months meetings include a program on various subjects ranging from rockhounding field trips to beading to local geology.
The Club held its first show in 2004. It wasn’t much more than a tailgate party for the members. Over the years the show has grown from its meager beginnings in the livestock building at the Yavapai County Fairgrounds, where the flies outnumbered the patrons, to what it is today, the largest indoor show in Northern Arizona. In 2024, the show will again take over the Findlay Toyota Center in Prescott Valley for three days of rockin’ fun!
‘Finding and Making the Good’
Back at the beginning of the COVID-19 crisis, Barry Barbe, owner of El Gato Azul, formed the Gato Community Gives program, focusing on finding locals in need and filling that need, whether through providing meals or needed cash or other means of support.

Bridging the Divide
In Arizona’s vibrant landscape, a persistent challenge that demands our attention and advocacy is the gender pay gap. As we strive for equity and inclusivity, it is imperative to address this issue head-on and work towards creating a fair and just society for all, but more specifically for those who have been marginalized for centuries past. Additionally, we must consider the impact of disclosing salary history and its role in perpetuating existing inequities. The Women’s Foundation for the State of Arizona (WFSA) urges everyone to join us in advocating for change and making our voices heard.

It’s hitting families with children in some unique ways: students are schooling at home part- or full-time, which means working parents have to come up with childcare, shift to working from home (or shift to working from home while children are schooling from home), or possibly even stop working to stay home with their kids.
