Today, our storytelling lives across multiple platforms. Through the She Spark Podcast, we amplify real conversations around leadership, purpose, growth, and connection. Through the Prescott Woman Awards, we honor women whose courage, compassion, and contributions make a lasting difference. And through Portraits with Purpose, we combine storytelling and service, using photography to give back and uplift local nonprofits.

Prescott’s 4th Friday Art Walk: A Celebration of Art and Community
Experience the vibrant arts scene in Prescott every 4th Friday of the month as 16 galleries in and around the historic downtown courthouse plaza open their doors for early evening events, including signature exhibits and artist receptions. This monthly event, established in 2004, showcases the work of local and nationally acclaimed artists.

If anything has changed in the past 150 years, it’s education. The Prescott Unified School district is no exception; a century and a half ago, all the students from the entire district fit inside a four-room schoolhouse, where they learned reading, writing, and arithmetic.

Opportunity Abounds, Right Here in Prescott
Right in the heart of Prescott, three local women are helping the local economy thrive. Through their work at the Northern Arizona Council of Governments’ (NACOG) Economic/Workforce Development (EWD) office, Teri Drew, Leah Clickavage, and Anita Payne run the programs that offer training, services, and resources to help people find and retain quality employees and help businesses run smoothly.

Ensuring Access to Care
While the Community Health Center of Yavapai recently celebrated its 20th anniversary as a Federally Qualified Health Center, programs and services continue to evolve to meet primary, dental, and behavioral health care needs for residents of Yavapai County. Community Health Center of Yavapai has clinics in Prescott, Prescott Valley, and Cottonwood, with several programs in place to provide additional support to medically underserved patients, including those who are uninsured, underinsured, and low income.
