The Arts Are Alive with the Holiday Spirit
Get in on the holiday spirit at Suze’s Prescott Center for the Arts. Join the organization for the 23rd Annual Holiday Market! As many know, Prescott is considered Arizona’s Christmas City, and with Acker Night, the Tree Lighting Ceremony on the Courthouse Plaza, The Light Parade and so much more, there is truly something for everyone to enjoy.
Wandering Home
As I sat down on the couch across from Ralene Challinor, the warmth, loving-kindness, and acceptance this woman carries around with her spilled out into space between us. Little did I know that I would end up spending the next two hours there, listening to the amazing story of how Ralene became a foster and adoptive mom and began her career with Christian Family Care.

Eat Your Yard
The front yard of any house makes such an important first impression. Many homeowners lean heavily on a shrub border and a couple of trees to bring the landscape’s design together. What most people don’t consider, though, is that the front yard is often the sunniest spot in a landscape, which makes it the perfect spot to install a beautiful working farm: vegetable gardens thrive in lots of sun, and with careful planning, edible plants can play a starring role in a yard’s striking scenery.
Living Life with Heart
Many people have important childhood experiences that steer them toward their life’s work. Few, however, can point to an event as significant as testifying before the United Nations at 11 years old. That experience motivated Olufunso Odunukan, MD, MPH, FACC, FSCAI – an interventional cardiologist who recently joined Dignity Health, Yavapai Regional Medical Group (YRMG) – to pursue a career in medicine.
