What began as a lifestyle magazine has evolved into a dynamic, digital-forward brand rooted in storytelling, connection, and community uplift.
We spotlight the women who lead, create, serve, and inspire — entrepreneurs, artists, educators, advocates, and changemakers whose work shapes the place we call home. Through powerful profiles, thoughtful features, and meaningful conversations, we go beyond the surface to share stories that matter.
Today, our storytelling lives across multiple platforms. Through the She Spark Podcast, we amplify real conversations around leadership, purpose, growth, and connection. Through the Prescott Woman Awards, we honor women whose courage, compassion, and contributions make a lasting difference. And through Portraits with Purpose, we combine storytelling and service, using photography to give back and uplift local nonprofits.

AAUW: Celebrating 75 Years of Community Service in Prescott
The Prescott Branch of the American Association of University Women celebrated 75 Years of community service to women and girls on Jan.13 at the Center for Spiritual Living. Attendees recalled AAUW Prescott’s role in bringing to life projects such as the Yavapai College Del E. Webb Family Enrichment Center, Stepping Stones Agencies’ advocacy services, Girls’ Rock-It Day STEM experience, The Reality Store® career/life simulation, and $35,000 in scholarships awarded since 2007.

It’s a G.E.M.
The goal of G.E.M. Environmental, a 501(c)3 charity in Prescott, is twofold: to connect underserved STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math students) to integrated and collaborative educational programming and to work with government agencies to conserve public lands.

Feeding Our Children
Carm Staker built Humboldt Unified School District’s Hungry Kids Project on the foundation of her vision to ensure children were getting enough to eat. Through the project, schools send weekly food packs home with children whose families qualify for free and reduced meal prices.

Carrying Out a Legacy
Since 1982, The Susan J. Rheem Adult Day Center, a nonprofit, medical/social adult day health program licensed by the Arizona Department of Health Services, has served caregivers and adults living with illnesses and disabilities, as well as dementias including Alzheimer’s disease. More than 5,000 adult day centers in the U.S. thrive in larger cities; The Susan J. Rheem Center thrives in rural Arizona.
