Owner of Blooming Into You Guides Clients to Healing and Empowerment so They Can Show Up Better

By Heather DeSousa

“Blooming into you is all about changing the programming, beliefs and narrative we’ve created from childhood. Releasing and changing those old thought patterns and finding more true beliefs about yourself. You are lovable and worthy. Bloom into YOU!”

Meet Kristen Dicker, a transformational trauma recovery specialist and holistic health coach and the owner of Blooming Into You. Kristen helps individuals heal, grow, and reclaim their power, guiding clients in overcoming limiting beliefs, breaking free from self-sabotage, and rediscovering their true selves.

Kristen’s path to coaching stems from her own experiences with trauma and outdated limiting beliefs and more than 30 years of deep inner work and healing. Becoming a wife and mother deepened her journey of self-love, inspiring her to help others. The name Blooming Into You reflects her mission to challenge ingrained beliefs and help clients embrace their worth beyond societal expectations.

Kristen believes trauma and health are deeply connected; her certifications in transformational trauma and abuse recovery and holistic health coaching, allow her to integrate her passion for psychology, health, and nutrition. Her approach includes somatic practices and cognitive behavioral techniques: helping clients regulate their nervous systems and reframe self-perceptions.

“Each client is completely different,” she said. “We start at the core: touching on their past and asking the profound questions, reminding the client that they are the expert of their life and experiences.”

“A lot of times we don’t know ourselves because we’re constantly giving ourselves to others. I prompt [clients] with questions to reflect on the answers of who they believe they are. Their life might reflect who they believe they are, but once you see a shadow part of yourself, and we turn the light on that, it shows them where they may have felt unworthy.”

She went on to explain her process. “Two months of your life we dig in. We spend the first four weeks figuring out your outdated limiting beliefs and old narratives who you have believed you are, and during the second four weeks we talk about setting new goals into daily life and establish a new ‘normal.’”

Kristen’s structured process starts with self-awareness, followed by integrating new beliefs into daily life. Sessions begin with grounding techniques like meditation and visualization, followed by exploring past experiences and reframing trauma for inner peace. Each session concludes with an “aha” moment, reinforcing breakthroughs.

Blooming Into You also focuses on Internal Family Systems Theory, Imaginal, Cognitive and Somatic Therapeutic techniques to break down a person’s opinions of who they are in society.

“While our core self has never been harmed by trauma, our parts have,” Kristen explained. “We want to move this anxiety so we can help to reparent you and these sections to calm the nervous system. Only then we can think logically instead of emotionally. ‘I couldn’t think straight; I was too emotional,’ is what we want to become aware of. Once you achieve this, you have more capacity for your logical mind and accomplish your goals.”

Clients learn to reclaim their power by shifting from external validation to internal validation. Kristen acknowledges that healing isn’t linear and supports clients through setbacks with compassion. By interrupting old patterns and silencing the inner critic, individuals continue moving forward with resilience.

Looking forward, Kristen plans to incorporate hypnotherapy into her services by fall of 2025. She recently completed the first season of her podcast, Blooming Into You, discussing trauma, narcissistic abuse, and holistic healing. She also co-hosts another podcast, Try Self Love, exploring self-worth and emotional healing.

“Heal out loud, talk about it, be willing to share your story to help yourself and others, be willing to dive into the root of what happened so you can get unstuck and work towards a better you,” Kristen said. “Think about your relationships, health and career. Be willing to be courageous and come home to yourself. It is a domino effect in your life and those around you. When you heal and love yourself first you can show up better in your entire life. You’re not selfish, you are selfFULL”.
