Support a fun and worthy cause by sponsoring a tree or wreath at the Festival of Trees Prescott

It may be a little early for Christmas, but it’s not too early to sign up for a merrymaking event that benefits one of our local nonprofit heroes during the holidays.

Festival of Trees Prescott is seeking a few more businesses to participate in the 2023 event. The festival features a wide range of sponsorship opportunities, from decorating a tree or wreath to sponsoring a table.

This year, event profits go to Yavapai CASA for Kids Foundation, which plays the important role of working to enrich the lives of current and former foster youth and supporting the CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) program.

The sixth annual festival marks the beginning of the holiday season here in Arizona’s Christmas City, taking place the week before Thanksgiving.

“The sale and delivery of these fully decorated Christmas trees to people’s homes and businesses needs to take place just before December, so the timing of this event is really important,” said Alysia McCabe, director of events for StarStruck Event Planning, the festival producer.

Recognizing that holidays are busy, four new festival sponsorship levels aim to make it easy for local businesses to participate: The Holiday Bar, Letters to Santa Table, Kids’ Craft Table, and numerous Sleigh Bells sponsorships that are tied to the cocktail tables during Jingle Mingle night.

Other participation packages give businesses and individuals the opportunity to decorate trees (there are three sizes from which to choose) or a wreath. If representatives from a business don’t have time to design and decorate a tree, the festival can pair them with a local designer, who will do it for them.

Each participation package comes with a list of benefits including a custom tree sign, website listing, tickets to the event, donation receipt, and more. “There is a lot of value in our packages, as we know it’s important that participating businesses get exposure, as well as giving back to their community,” Alysia said.

Members of the public can shop the trees and wreaths while also enjoying a variety of other activities at the Festival of Trees, including visiting Santa, making tree ornaments, face painting, balloon twisting, seeing various musical and theatrical acts, and meeting Quest characters. Visitors also can see who the judges picked for their favorite trees and wreaths while voting on their own favorites.

The sixth annual Festival of Trees Prescott takes place at the Sam Hill Warehouse in downtown Prescott, 232 N. Granite Street, Wednesday, November 15 through Saturday, November 18. For more information, visit FestivalOfTrees-Prescott.com.
