Theater Magic!
Jean started her stage career as an actress. She found it necessary to learn how to apply stage makeup and eventually taught actors and others how to apply makeup for PCA over the years. Although she now channels her energies toward directing, Lippincott keeps her feet wet in the makeup arena by purchasing the supplies needed for the many PCA performances.

Dr. Tiffany Longoria, Co-Owner, Lifestyle Chiropractic
Dr. Tiffany Longoria, and her husband Dr. Jerome Longoria, owners of Lifestyle Chiropractic in Prescott, hope to build a thriving practice and help their community. Born in Des Moines, Iowa, Dr. Tiffany grew up in a (very) small town before moving back to Des Moines during high school. She graduated from Valley High School, where she played in the band, sang in the choir, and ran track.

Thermography is Not a Substitute for Mammography
As a surgeon-in-training in Baltimore, Maryland in the 1980s, Michael G. Macon, MD, FACS, participated in a research study comparing two potential breast cancer screening methods: mammography and thermography.
“The hope was that thermography would measure heat throughout the breast and that this would be an indication of abnormalities in the breast, allowing breast surveillance without the need for radiation,” said Dr. Macon. “However, it was clear early on that thermography only measured the heat on the skin’s surface, which does not provide information on possible cancers within the breast. That’s why thermography was abandoned as a breast screening method.”
