‘A Launching Place’
Teens are taking the lead at The Launch Pad Teen Center in Prescott. While many qualified, caring adult staff members are there for guidance and support, at its very core, the organization is designed to center the ideas and perspectives of the youth it serves.
Its mission: “To incite teen confidence and empowerment through innovative community education and engagement.”

Now, under the progressive vision of owners Jim and Jean-Marie Bellington, LazyG is entering an exciting new chapter—one that continues its blend of live music, community spirit, and even a place to stay the night.
“This summer, we made that experience even more memorable by way of expanding our concept of craft and comfort,” said Jean-Marie.
The big news? In early July, LazyG unveiled its brand-new “bed-and-brew” lodging. Think cozy comfort via trendy accommodations just steps from the taproom. “It’s always been about creating an experience, not just a brewery. Having stayed in similar accommodations in the U.S., the charm and location of the LazyG Bed & Brew on Leroux Street was just what we were looking for,” she added.

Sunshine and Butterflies!
The Margaret T. Morris Assisted Living Center residents and the Susan J. Rheem Adult Day Center participants have been enjoying the spring weather. They are looking forward to more of it. Outdoor activities in the sunshine and fresh air are most definitely what the doctor ordered after a long, cold winter.
The Margaret T. Morris Assisted Living Center has a one-acre strolling garden with beautiful flowers, plants, and fruit trees that attract butterflies. The residents partake in a gardening program where they assist in growing flowers and plants and even help maintain the garden by assisting with watering and pruning.
