Owner of Buenos Baños, LLC takes pride in doing better while serving the community and supporting her family
Prescott Woman Magazine chatted with Kayce Peters, owner of Buenos Baños LLC, to find out what makes her enjoy being a part of the Prescott Chamber of Commerce and how it benefits her business.
PWM: How long have you been a member of the Prescott Chamber, and what do you enjoy most about being part of this organization?
Kayce: Though new to the Prescott Chamber, I’ve attended events like the Women in Business Luncheon. It’s inspiring to be able to connect, and I’m proud to support community needs.
PWM: In your experience, how does the Prescott Chamber differ from other local groups?
Kayce: The Prescott Chamber has a farther reach and a broader need for a portable restroom service. Many use my services based on the Chamber’s referrals.
PWM: Tell us about what brought you to Prescott and your employment role.
Kayce: I was born and raised in Chino Valley. I saw the need for clean, reliable service after working in wastewater. I take pride in raising industry standards.
PWM: Do you hold any other positions within the Chamber?
Kayce: I’m a member of both the Prescott and Chino Valley Chambers. Though I hope to get more involved, my current focus is being a mother and business owner.
PWM: Do you have any kids, significant others, fur babies, or family members in the area?
Kayce: I’ve been married 17 years to my biggest supporter. We have six kids, two dogs, and nearby family who help with the business. I’m thankful for their support.
PWM: Are you involved in the community? If so, what initiatives or projects are you currently involved in that aim to uplift our community?
Kayce: Balancing a big family and business, I help where I can—attending mixers, donating, joining parades, sponsoring sports, and supporting local events. I love giving back.
PWM: What inspired you to start your business, and how has that inspiration evolved?
Kayce: After a bad porta potty experience, I thought, “I can do better.” With my husband’s support, I started this business to serve the community and support my family.
PWM: How do you balance the demands of running a business with personal life, especially in the context of societal expectations?
Kayce: Balancing everything is tough, but my husband, family, and friends make it possible. Family comes first, business second, always.
PWM: What do you wish you had known when first starting your business, and what advice do you have for women considering launching their own local business?
Kayce: I learned how difficult it is to secure funding. My advice would be to stay passionate, dream big, work hard, and take the leap.
PWM: Is there a common misconception about women in business that you would like to address?
Kayce: A misconception is women can’t match men’s strength. I prove them wrong—handling trucks and trailers and maintaining top-notch service.
PWM: Is there anything else you’d like to share that people might not know about you or your work?
Kayce: It’s not as disgusting as people think. I don’t touch human waste—just pump, clean, sanitize, and restock. Showing up, servicing weekly, and building rapport is key!
