A Day of Sunshine & Creative Gardens
The Alta Vista Garden Club in Prescott presents a Garden Tour on June 21 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The tour will feature five gardens, each with a slightly different take on gardening in our mild four-season climate. Whether you are looking for the perfect show of color or need inspiration for your own garden, this tour is for you. Perhaps you will enjoy the serenity of a water feature trickling through a meditation area or the gentle breeze of a kinetic sculpture or a riot of color designed to attract the birds, bees and butterflies. There is something for everyone. In addition to these wonderfully designed gardens, club members and Master Gardeners will be available to answer questions and local artists and musicians will add to the ambience of each garden setting.
Tickets are limited and will be available for purchase beginning April 1. They can be purchased for a $20 donation at: The Lookout, The Native Garden, Watters Design and Garden Center, and Mortimer Nursery in Prescott; Rafter 11 and Prescott Valley Nursery in Prescott Valley, and Earthworks in Chino Valley.

On the day of the tour programs, maps and a wristband ID will be available from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Yavapai College in Prescott. Any remaining tickets may be purchased there on the day of the tour. Wearing of wristbands is required for entry into the gardens.
Proceeds from this event support the work of Alta Vista Garden Club in local education, conservation, and beautification projects. We look forward to welcoming you to our gardens.
The garden club, a 501(c)3 organization, is one of the oldest civic organizations in Prescott, celebrating its 74th year in 2025. It is affiliated with the National Organization of Garden Clubs and the Arizona Federation of Garden Clubs.
