The Prescott Valley Chamber brings together women to celebrate International Women’s Day
On March 8, Park Collective buzzed with energy and enthusiasm as local women immersed themselves in a day of empowerment and celebration.
The 2nd annual Prescott Valley Chamber of Commerce’s International Women’s Day luncheon—with a sold-out crowd of 250 attendees—served as a powerful reminder of the collective strength and resilience of women from all walks of life.
Irene Smith, the esteemed owner of CrossFit Prescott Valley, captivated the audience with her keynote address on “Health and Wellness through Grace,” urging attendees to embrace grace as a cornerstone of their holistic well-being journey.
Leslie Zann, a renowned advocate for empowerment, followed suit with her inspiring message on living with courage, encouraging attendees to pursue their dreams and aspirations fearlessly.
The event’s success would not have been possible without the unwavering support of the Chamber’s sponsors. The Chamber extends its gratitude to Desert Financial Credit Union, the Empowering Level Sponsor, and Encouraging Level Sponsors Arizona’s Hometown Radio Group, Not Our First Rodeo, and Prescott Woman Magazine. Their generous contributions helped make the event a resounding success, amplifying the Chamber’s efforts to uplift and empower women in this community.
In addition to our sponsors’ captivating speeches and generous support, the 2nd Annual International Women’s Luncheon featured an exciting raffle, offering more than forty fabulous gifts to lucky attendees. From vacuum cleaners to luxurious overnight stays and indulgent massage to spa packages, the raffle prizes added an extra layer of excitement and anticipation to the event.
The raffle, expertly managed by Auctions with Flair, further heightened the atmosphere of camaraderie and generosity. Attendees eagerly participated, vying for coveted items and experiences while contributing to the event’s overall success.
The Chamber also is immensely thankful for the support from APS, Better Business Bureau, Melcher Printing, Old Soul Floral, KB Services, Prescott Area Association of Realtors, and SMARTgirls Resale Fashions. Their commitment to the cause underscored the collective effort to celebrate women’s resilience, strength, and achievements everywhere.
As the event concluded, attendees left with hearts full of inspiration and minds brimming with possibilities. The 2nd Annual International Women’s Luncheon left an indelible mark on all who attended, reaffirming our commitment to championing women’s empowerment and celebrating their invaluable contributions to society. We eagerly anticipate continuing this inspiring journey, united in our dedication to creating a more inclusive and equitable world for women everywhere.
The 3rd annual International Women’s Day luncheon is already being planned for March 7, 2025.
