Vice-Chair for Volunteers, Prescott Area Young Professionals
Customer care and creativity lead the way for Jennifer Jividen DeWees in her role as sales manager for Ponderosa Hotel Management Services, which oversees revenue-building at Residence Inn by Marriott, SpringHill Suites by Marriott, and Quality Inn by Choice. She also works as a sales trainer for Marriott International’s bi-annual weeklong courses.
Jennifer focuses on driving sales with local, state, and international corporate businesses, incoming groups and retreats, and local events … and she strives to maintain strong, healthy relationships among her clients and within her community.
Before branching out into the hospitality industry, she operated her own hair business with Leidan Mitchell in Chandler, Arizona, where she had the privilege of serving clients who worked for Channel 12 News and ESPN. The careful attention she gave to customers in her business continues to serve her in her current role, as well as in her involvement with various organizations in the quad city area.
Driven to serve after her youngest child, Allison, was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes four years ago, Jennifer is an advocate for the American Diabetes Association (ADA). Jennifer and Allison are annual speakers at Mesa Community College on this often-misunderstood diagnosis and are active Ambassadors for the ADA.
Jennifer serves as the vice chair for volunteers with the Prescott Area Young Professionals (PAYP), and spends her free time playing softball, hiking, biking, and enjoying the local shops and opportunities the different communities offer.
Most importantly, she strives daily to be an inspiration for her three daughters, Allison, Rachel, and Brooke. She could not be more proud of the young women they are becoming as they thrive educationally at Trinity Christian School, are competitive in their sports, have strong desires to serve others, and share their hearts of gold freely with people they meet.
