Although people refer to microblading, eyeliner tattoos, and lip shading as “permanent” makeup, Kelly said, it’s actually semi-permanent because the ink penetrates only the first three layers of skin. This means that the color fades naturally (without turning an “off” color) and that it requires annual touchups.
Permanent makeup isn’t meant to take the place of regular makeup—people typically dress it up—it enables people to wake up mostly ready for the day, looking spectacular.

Eyeliner tattooing can be used to enhance eyelashes and to make the eyes look bigger, and lip shading can provide greater contrast between the lips and the skin, making them appear fuller and more youthful. Kelly has even helped clients recreate lips damaged by skin cancer.
Kelly uses NovaLash extensions, which are oilproof, sweatproof, and waterproof, and last twice as long as other extensions with minimal maintenance.
