James-Marco Health’s leadership takes thoughtful, well-rounded approach to wellness

Prescott Woman Magazine interviewed Alicia Malouf, Director of Operations for James-Marco Health and member of the Prescott Chamber of Commerce. We learned about how much she values wellness and community connections.

PWM: For how long have you been a member of the Prescott Chamber of Commerce?Alicia: Since 2019.

PWM: Tell us about what brought you to the Prescott area.

Alicia: As a mother of four, I wanted a place where my children could thrive, and my husband and I could feel valued. Our first visit to Prescott gave us a strong sense of belonging and a feeling of “home.” With a passion for all things wellness, I saw the chance to help build a new clinic as the perfect fit. I recognized the community’s need for primary and naturopathic primary care and am so excited to meet that need.

PWM: What about the Prescott Chamber is different from other organizations in the area, and what do you personally enjoy best about being part of it?

Alicia: The Prescott Chamber fosters strong community connections, balancing networking and mentoring to help businesses find like-minded individuals and innovative opportunities.

PWM: Do you have family here? Children? Other activities in which you participate?

Alicia: I have four children and a wonderful husband, Adam. Our two sons live with us, one daughter is at NAU, and another is pursuing a teaching credential in California. We enjoy side-by-side rides with friends, while also raising our two donkeys, 20 chickens, two dogs, and one kitten.

PWM: How are you involved in the community?

Alicia: Our goal for James-Marco Health is to truly take advantage of our three-pronged approach to health and wellness in the community. We are committed to offering not only in-clinic visits but also telemedicine and, for our members, home health visits. This allows for the most well-rounded and thoughtful approach to wellness. Wellness seminars will be open to community members, offering insight and answers on health and wellness.

PWM: What else do you want to add that people might not know about you or what you do

or offer?

Alicia: James-Marco Health offers more than primary care. We provide therapies like acupuncture, yoga therapy, nutrigenomics and many more! Our boutique wellness clinic operates on cash or HSA funds, with monthly and yearly memberships available to cover various services, as most insurances don’t cover naturopathic therapies. You can enjoy comprehensive wellness and primary care in one place with our unique approach.
