What began as a lifestyle magazine has evolved into a dynamic, digital-forward brand rooted in storytelling, connection, and community uplift.
We spotlight the women who lead, create, serve, and inspire — entrepreneurs, artists, educators, advocates, and changemakers whose work shapes the place we call home. Through powerful profiles, thoughtful features, and meaningful conversations, we go beyond the surface to share stories that matter.
Today, our storytelling lives across multiple platforms. Through the She Spark Podcast, we amplify real conversations around leadership, purpose, growth, and connection. Through the Prescott Woman Awards, we honor women whose courage, compassion, and contributions make a lasting difference. And through Portraits with Purpose, we combine storytelling and service, using photography to give back and uplift local nonprofits.

Prescott Arts Journey – Summer Henry
Avatar Tat2 was established in 2001 and Summer came to Avatar for a guest spot in November 2011 and purchased the shop on December 2011. Avatar Tat2 is a fully woman-owned and operated local small business.
Summer says about her artist experience, “I feel like I was just born into it…. I’ve been drawing and painting since I can remember. Before that, juvenile doodles filled up the paper, hotel notepads, and napkins (when mom ran out of paper and couldn’t get to the store), all of which are in a hope chest at the foot of my bed. Proof of the passion I had at such an early age.”

Dual Enrollment: A Win-Win Program Providing Opportunity for Both Students and Educators
ollaboration of any kind requires time, effort and flexibility. And, Pam Willard and Janice Yargo-Gatchell, English teachers at Prescott High School (PHS), know just how much their teaching collaboration impacts their students who take part in the Dual Enrollment program offered there. With Dual Enrollment, high school students can take a college course that will earn them credit for both the high school class and the college class. So far, the program has been successful.
