Jen Harvey

Jen came to Arizona as a travel nurse in 2000, seeking adventure, and has spent her free time exploring caves, floating down rivers, hiking through canyons, cliff jumping, rockhounding, and backpacking. Caving was her first love; she has been a member of a caving club wherever she has lived. “The Wandering Soles” was her first AZ hiking club, and she still gets to meet up with these fellow adventurers. As they are right next door to the Grand Canyon, Jen backpacks to Phantom Ranch about twice a year, including a recent trip with six teenagers and six kazoos. Her family of four has been raised on exploring National Parks, floating the Verde River, exploring underground caves, and searching for nearby crystals. Here’s to the next adventure!
