Dancing for the Stars Season 8 is in full swing, with performances slated for September 6 and 7

The Boys & Girls Clubs have transformed from a daycare to a day camp and have no plans to change back. Our summer 2024 program serves more than 300 kids, and our Clubs have elected to continue the adventure far beyond the summer break. We plan to provide an adventure every day after school when the school year begins.

Our youth deserve the opportunity to explore, discover, and go outside. The walls of our Clubs no longer have to restrict our ability to provide a safe space for kids to grow after school. We want to provide every family with the opportunity to adventure without the price burden.

We never turn a family away because of their inability to pay. Our scholarship and income-based payment plans ensure all families can afford to attend the Club. To maintain our low membership fees, we must call upon our loving community for support, philanthropy, and stewardship for these Clubs that have helped so many.

The Boys & Girls Clubs are experts in fun. Everything we do has fun in it, including our annual gala supporting our work. Dancing for the Stars is a performance-based gala event you don’t want to miss. Now, in its eighth year, dancing has become a treasure in our community. In the vein of the popular TV show, local celebrities have been called upon to raise funds for our kids and their adventures. In addition to raising money for the kids, our celebrities and professional dancer partners will dazzle and thank our donors with a jaw-dropping performance for all our guests.

Each team is out right now in our community collecting sponsors, ticket sales, and voting dollars, which all go directly to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central AZ and stay in both our Clubs in Prescott and Prescott Valley. Folks can join us at the show by donating any way they like. Voting for a dancer is a direct donation and qualifies for the Arizona Tax Credit.

Our show has grown beyond our dreams, and we are grateful to all our donors who have returned to the show annually with unwavering support. Over 800 people attended our Season 7 performance at the Jim and Linda Lee Performing Arts Center, and tickets are quickly selling for season 8.

The Boys & Girls Clubs are proud to present Dancing for the Stars Season 8, Dancing Through the Ages, September 6 and 7 as we celebrate 25 years of Clubs and kids.
