Telling the stories that shape our community.

Prescott Woman Magazine is Northern Arizona’s premier women-focused media platform, dedicated to celebrating the voices, stories, and impact of the Prescott Quad Cities. What began as a lifestyle magazine has evolved into a dynamic, digital-forward brand rooted in storytelling, connection, and community uplift.

We spotlight the women who lead, create, serve, and inspire — entrepreneurs, artists, educators, advocates, and changemakers whose work shapes the place we call home. Through powerful profiles, thoughtful features, and meaningful conversations, we go beyond the surface to share stories that matter.

Today, our storytelling lives across multiple platforms. Through the She Spark Podcast, we amplify real conversations around leadership, purpose, growth, and connection. Through the Prescott Woman Awards, we honor women whose courage, compassion, and contributions make a lasting difference. And through Portraits with Purpose, we combine storytelling and service, using photography to give back and uplift local nonprofits.

More than a magazine, Prescott Woman is a movement — a trusted platform for women’s voices, a connector of community, and a catalyst for positive change. We believe stories have power, visibility creates opportunity, and when women rise, communities thrive.

Join us as we continue to celebrate Prescott — digitally, boldly, and with heart — one story, one spark, and one woman at a time.

The heart, the center of every home is the kitchen.  It’s where we break bread, share good conversations, and, often, the place where we soothe our souls.

The park is home to 86 species including 42 mammals, 27 reptiles and 17 birds.

Summertime Blooms

Summertime Blooms

There are two types of flowers: annuals and perennials. Annuals bloom non-stop the entire season we spend outdoors, then fade in the winter cold. Perennials typically have a shorter bloom cycle but come back year after year for decades of garden enjoyment.

June is when you will find the largest variety of perennial flowers at Watters Garden Center, but here are my favorites for the best show through the summer heat.

Enlighted and Empowered: Understanding your Risk for Breast Cancer

One in eight women will develop breast cancer during their lifetimes. An estimated five to ten percent of those breast cancers will be linked to gene mutations passed through many generations of the family. Hormonal changes, lifestyle, and environmental factors also play a role in the development of breast cancer. This means breast cancer is likely caused by a complicated interaction of genetic makeup, the environment, and lifestyle.

Views for Miles

Views for Miles

Two and-a-half decades ago when Dede and John Erceg bought five acres on a hilltop in Chino Valley, they didn’t buy it for the 70s-era farmhouse-style home or the abundance of wildlife nearby.

They bought it for the views.

“My husband is a pilot,” Dede said, “and he wanted a house with a view.”
