Experience the vibrant arts scene in Prescott every 4th Friday of the month as 16 galleries in and around the historic downtown courthouse plaza open their doors for early evening events, including signature exhibits and artist receptions. This monthly event, established in 2004, showcases the work of local and nationally acclaimed artists.
Prescott’s mountainous forests provide a continual source of inspiration for scores of resident artists. Their works, alongside those of nationally recognized artists, are featured in the unique gallery venues in and around Prescott’s historic downtown courthouse plaza, where the beautifully preserved and functioning historic buildings testify to Prescott’s past and present.
The 4th Friday Art Walk begins at 5:00 PM. Visitors can explore the galleries during regular business hours, with special evening events providing additional allure. Gallery guides are available at all participating locations, local hotel brochure racks, and the Prescott Chamber of Commerce.
