Transformation on a Deeper Level
If you’re struggling to meet some of your goals, maybe all you need is a coach who helps you organize the concrete steps along your path.
Holistic Health and Life Coach Kristen Dicker created her “Blooming Into You: Coming Home to Your True Self” business so she can be that helping hand.
Building On a Family Tradition
Haley Construction has established a deep foundation in Prescott, and that foundation only continues to build with the third generation of owners.
Jim and Frances Haley brought their construction business to Prescott in 1960, which likely makes Haley Construction the oldest continually running general contractor in Yavapai County. Jim and Fran passed the business on to their sons Tom and Bill in the 1970s. Then Tom’s daughter Gillian and stepson Allan Crary bought the business in 2014.
Building Downtown Partnerships through Business Connections

Showcasing Prescott Valley’s Unique Attributes
During recent months, the Prescott Valley Town Council, the Town Manager, and key staff members recently had a collaborative strategic planning session where they determined four main focus areas for the Town moving forward: High-Performing Team, Water Stewardship, Quality of Life, and a Prosperous Community.
A Renewed Commitment to a Vital Downtown
PDP Board then quickly turned its focus to the future, creating a new detailed strategic plan to expand its efforts to help its partners keep the historic downtown dynamic while adding layers of PDP financial accountability. They hired fellow board member Audra Yamamoto to lead the PDP into a new, more transparent era.
Fresh, Fragrant, and Organic
If you walk down Costco’s coffee aisle anywhere in Arizona, you can pretty much assume that the dominant intoxicating aroma is emanating from the bags labeled Firehouse Coffee Roasters.
Artsy Magic
What started out as just-for-fun artwork on Instagram, “The Artsy Blonde” gained a number of followers, including a Phoenix-based mother-daughter team in search of an illustrator for their book. “Princess Pippa & The Crown of Kindness” is a sweet story about a little girl who believes lipstick makes her beautiful. Throughout the book, she learns that a heart of gold allows beauty to shine from within, and Kelly said, “That is the message I want girls to hear and take to heart.”
Smart Growth
Every month, the Prescott Valley Economic Foundation’s (PVEDF) board of directors meets to discuss the region’s economic development efforts. Five of those members are outstanding women who have taken the extra step to ensure the community’s success.
