Mended & Whole Counseling, established in February 2023 by Kimberly Langford, provides a compassionate space for individuals seeking healing and restoration. The practice offers a wide range of services designed to address various aspects of mental health and emotional well-being.

Kimberly, a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) and Licensed Associate Substance Abuse Counselor (LASAC) in Arizona, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her clients. With degrees in Psychology, Christian Counseling, and Addiction Counseling from Liberty University, and trauma certifications from the Trauma Institute International, she has dedicated her career to helping others navigate the complexities of trauma and recovery.

Her practice addresses issues such as attachment trauma, unresolved childhood trauma, birth trauma, and perinatal/postpartum depression, as well as PTSD, depression, anxiety, and substance and alcohol use disorders. Additionally, Kimberly offers specialized services in foster care and adoption, Christian counseling, grief counseling, play therapy, and art therapy, ensuring a holistic approach to mental health.

Kimberly’s dedication to addiction and depression counseling is deeply rooted in personal family history. Reflecting on this heartbreak and finding her purpose through her faith and connection with the Lord gave her the courage to expand her practice. Through her work, Kimberly channels this passion into helping others overcome their challenges, offering them hope and healing through compassion.

At Mended & Whole Counseling, Kimberly also offers a faith-based approach which integrates Christian principles with practical tools for stress management and PTSD, guiding clients toward wholeness and health.

Kimberly’s personal journey, influenced by her upbringing in Prescott, where her parents fostered children, has fueled her passion for supporting others through difficult times. Before starting her practice, Kimberly spent eight years in the foster care and adoption field with an emphasis on helping parents navigate and foster relationships with children who experienced childhood trauma, and helping them thrive in a new environment.

Balancing her professional responsibilities with her roles as a wife and mother of two, Kimberly cherishes the opportunity to make a meaningful impact through Mended & Whole Counseling, helping individuals and families find peace and healing in their lives.
