The owner of NAKED Beauty Bar strives to empower women in her hometown—the community she loves

Prescott Woman Magazine chatted with Jessica Parker, owner & esthetician at NAKED Beauty Bar, to find out what makes her enjoy Prescott and everything it has to offer.

PWM: How long have you lived in Prescott?

Jessica: I was born and raised in Prescott. It’s such an incredible place, and I’m so grateful to be here.

PWM: Why did you choose Prescott as your home?

Jessica: I chose to stay here because this is an incredible place to raise a family. Prescott is gorgeous and sage, the people are friendly, and my kids absolutely love it here.

PWM: What’s your occupation?

Jessica: I’m the owner of NAKED Beauty Bar and Esthetician there. I have locations in Prescott and Chino Valley.

PWM: Do you have any kids?

Jessica: My husband and I have a plethora of kids—seven total, ranging in age from three to 20 years old. Our youngest three joined our family through foster care over the past four years. We closed our license in Nov 2022 when our youngest joined our family forever. We thought seven was a solid number to end on.

PWM: What is your favorite thing about living in the Prescott area?

Jessica: Not only is the area absolutely gorgeous, but also the community surrounding us is incredible. To me, having a supportive, caring community is one of the most important things.

PWM: How do you think Prescott enhances your occupation and hobbies?

Jessica: Growing up here gave me the opportunity to establish many relationships, and that’s been essential in my growing business. I believe this is part of what has led to NAKED’s success. As far as hobbies, we all love going to the lakes, hiking, and the ability to get out and about consistently.

PWM: Are you working on anything new or exciting for the upcoming year?

Jessica: Absolutely! I am working very hard at continuing to grow NAKED Beauty Bar. One of my biggest goals over the next year is to start an outreach program targeted at helping women in rough situations both physically and financially. My heart is to help them begin to rebuild their hearts/minds and to feel comfortable in their own skin. I will be donating part of my time to a specific woman each month, with the goal of helping her build confidence in herself, loving on her, and helping boost how she feels about herself overall. So many women lose that so quickly and it’s important to me to help empower them.  That’s one of the biggest reasons I started my business.

PWM: If you could contribute to anything in the Prescott area, what would it be and why?

Jessica: My heart lies in giving back. I feel so fortunate to be where I am and doing what I do. I want to use this to help others. Seeing how broken so many are inside…I want to help. Through our years of foster care, I saw so much. I saw the hurt in so many children, teens, and adults. I want to use what I do to help them and those struggling in our community.
