Bailie Sanders
“In addition to being a wonderful daughter and mother, Bailie is the owner of two Prescott small businesses: Board and Brush, and High On Life Productions. She still finds time to serve in a volunteer capacity with several non-profits. Bailie is on the board for the Prescott Area Young Professionals, where she works to make Prescott a vibrant place for young families to live and thrive. She also serves on the Prescott Downtown Partnership, where she has been hands-on with the events committees and even took charge of managing several craft festivals on the courthouse square. Bailie is also involved with the Prescott Unified School District Education Foundation board with the events and development committee where she works to raise funds for Prescott area public schools, supporting the students, teachers and facilities.”
Allison Lenocker
“Allison is being nominated because of her enormous impact on people’s lives. She has a deep and nuanced understanding of the changing face of homelessness and can communicate clearly to all stakeholders. She is generous with her time and expertise, aiding nearby communities in providing services to the most vulnerable. She keeps solid connections with so many community partners that it is hard to count. The staff at CCJ works like a family in service to the most vulnerable, as shown by her example. Allison and the staff insist on maintaining an open shelter that welcomes all people, sober or not, without the exclusionary policies one finds in other such organizations. CCJ’s position is that every time there is contact with an unsheltered person, there is also an opportunity to help them move into a safer future. Her presence enriches our community and her commitment to her work every day!”
Candace Lea
“Candace Lea is an amazing asset to our Prescott community. She can be found tirelessly volunteering her time and contributing valuable donations to help those in need physically, mentally, socially, and financially. Besides creating numerous fundraisers for agencies, such as the Prescott Police Foundation and Alzheimer’s Association, Candace offers yoga (donation only) and its benefits to all members of our community, making sure no one is left out.”
