Two-Part Harmony
Henry and Maria still teach music and are involved in separate projects: Maria practicing and performing, and Henry as Arizona Philharmonic’s Executive Director. “But we’re at our best when we work together,” they both agreed with a smile. “So we’ve scheduled a few spring recitals across Arizona.”
And the Winner Is …
Robyn Allen, Executive Director of Suze’s Prescott Center for the Arts, is the recipient of the 2021 Prescott ATHENA Award. The award actively supports and celebrates the ATHENA mission to support, develop, and honor women leaders, to inspire women to achieve their full potential and create balance in leadership worldwide.
Another Layer of Adventure
Puzzle Rides Prescott is the state’s only mobile escape room, offering scavenger hunt adventures on golf carts for up to ten people.
Founder Katie Dufort created the idea during the pandemic, pivoting her golf cart shuttle service to the game model for people of all ages. In the first year of launching, Katie and her head puzzle master, Shawna Rodriguez, gave more than 2,500 rides to locals and visitors.
Theater Magic!
Jean started her stage career as an actress. She found it necessary to learn how to apply stage makeup and eventually taught actors and others how to apply makeup for PCA over the years. Although she now channels her energies toward directing, Lippincott keeps her feet wet in the makeup arena by purchasing the supplies needed for the many PCA performances.

Supporting the Mission While Getting an Education
For many, volunteering fulfills that special calling to showcase and offer personal gifts and skills to those who need them. And, for the people who spearhead volunteer efforts at Prescott Center for the Arts (PCA), providing education through their various roles only adds and enhances the volunteer experience.
Southwest Vibes
Prescott is becoming the artistic, musical, and entertainment capital of the Southwest … that is, if Candace Devine has anything to say about it. And she does, as the host of the Creative Convergence podcast, which she records weekly at Raven Sound Studio in downtown Prescott.
