Live Music Is Back!

After more than a year and a half of canceled events and entertainment, the reemergence of live concerts has begun. There is no shortage of happy, eager attendees ready and willing to welcome back that which was sorely missed: the feeling of camaraderie, delight, exhilaration, and that sometimes-irrepressible urge to dance in our seats or sing along with the music we love. This year’s Dancing for the Stars event raised more than $275,000 for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Arizona. As the organization’s major yearly fundraiser, it has grown to raise a significant portion of the non-profit’s annual budget and literally keeps the doors open for the Prescott and Prescott Valley Clubs.

The award actively supports and celebrates the ATHENA mission to support, develop, and honor women leaders, to inspire women to achieve their full potential and create balance in leadership worldwide.

Another Layer of Adventure

Puzzle Rides Prescott is the state’s only mobile escape room, offering scavenger hunt adventures on golf carts for up to ten people.

Founder Katie Dufort created the idea during the pandemic, pivoting her golf cart shuttle service to the game model for people of all ages. In the first year of launching, Katie and her head puzzle master, Shawna Rodriguez, gave more than 2,500 rides to locals and visitors.

Theater Magic!

Jean started her stage career as an actress. She found it necessary to learn how to apply stage makeup and eventually taught actors and others how to apply makeup for PCA over the years. Although she now channels her energies toward directing, Lippincott keeps her feet wet in the makeup arena by purchasing the supplies needed for the many PCA performances.
